Anne Roux, MA, MPH

Anne Roux, M.A., M.P.H. is a Research Associate Faculty member at the Rutgers Center for State Health Policy. Ms. Roux is experienced in health services research and focuses much of her work on understanding and improving services and service systems for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her ongoing project work includes projects aimed at improving the transitions into adulthood for youth with disabilities; understanding state policy regarding housing assistance and health for people with chronic conditions and disabilities; and developing a measure of thriving among young persons with autism, epilepsy, and other health conditions. She is the PI for the “Validation of the Thriving Through Transitions to Adulthood Instrument,” a supplemental project of HRSA’s Autism Transitions Research Project (ATRP: Shea, PI), and she leads the ATRP project “Identifying the role of Title V programs in facilitating equitable outcomes for autistic transition-age youth.”  Additionally, she is a Co-PI for the “Improving Health Through HUD Housing Assistance for Chronic Disease Care” project funded by the National Institutes of Nursing Research (NINR).  

Prior to joining the Center in 2026, Ms. Roux was a Research Scientist and Director of Research and Policy Impact at the Policy and Analytics Center within the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute at Drexel University, and Adjunct Faculty at Drexel’s Dornsife School of Public Health. She was inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society of Public Health at Washington University in St. Louis in 2022. Ms. Roux holds a master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Kansas and a master’s in public health from Washington University in St. Louis.
