Rutgers health policy professor addresses gaps in care for Medicaid enrollees in new study

Ann Nguyen, associate research professor at the Rutgers Center for State Health Policy, conducted a recent study that revealed disparities among cancer screening rates for individuals enrolled in the NJ FamilyCare program, or Medicaid. These disparities were divided by factors such as race, age, geographic region and the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected rates of preventive services for cancer screenings.
